Marwan Alhalabi is the President of the Middle East Fertility Society, President of Syrian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Deputy President of Syrian Society of In-Vitro Fertilization from 2015. He is professor of reproductive medicine and embryology, head of department of reproductive medicine, genetics and embryology at faculty of medicine of Damascus University. He is also head of assisted reproduction unit and consultant medical director of Orient Hospital. Prof Alhalabi graduated from Damascus University, Syria in 1987.
