1. About me
I was born in Buenos Aires and I was raised there. When I was seventeen
years old, I went to a wedding party in Mar del plata with my family. There, I
met my husband, after that, we went out for two years and then we got
married. First, we lived in the north of San Luis, in a place called Tilisarao.
Later, we had a son and we moved to the south of San Luis to a place called
Martín de Loyola. Nowadays, we live very happily in this peaceful place.
With respect to the English language, I started studying it at primary school
when I was eight years old. Afterwards, when I was at High school, I studied
at an English academy for five years. When I moved to the north of San Luis,
it was difficult to study because I lived in the countryside. I was too far away
to go anywhere to study. So, I didn’t t have the opportunity to study. After
that, when we moved to the south of San Luis, I resumed my studies at an
academy where I studied the language for three years.
My first teaching experience was in 2015 when a replacement came up at the
village school. I took this job and from that moment on, I discovered that I
loved teaching. However, I felt the need to improve my English in order to
become an outstanding teacher. For this reason, I decided to start distance
learning, to do the English teaching training course. I started at a university in
Buenos Aires but years later, I gave up. After that, I took private tuition
because I needed to get the appropriate English level. A friend recommended
the Institute Lenguas Vivas and one I felt I was prepared, I signed up in 2017.
To conclude, I am studying very hard because I want to accomplish my goal
to become a teacher. I know that it is not an easy pathway but I also think that
nothing is impossible. I am learning from my mistakes and I am trying hard to
avoid them at present and in the future. It is my way to overcome my
difficulties and flaws to improve my abilities.
