14. Katie’s Autobiography
My name is Mohammed and I am 11 years old. I was born in
Dubai. When I was a baby I drank from a bottle. My mom took
good care of me. When I started to grow, my little sister was born.
Our bedroom was filled with toys. Then, I started Kindergarten. I
learned a lot. My teacher was very nice and taught me how to
read. Next, I went to first grade. First grade is a little harder, but I
am still learning a lot. My best friend is Moayed. He’s really funny.
We like to play tag at recess. I like my teacher this year because
he reads us stories. My favorite subject is reading. I read lots of
books. My favorite one is called “Diary of a Spider.” My favorite
color is purple and my favorite thing to do is sing. I live with my
mom, my dad, and my sister. We go on walks together around the
neighborhood. After school I always eat a snack. When I grow up,
I want to be a doctor just ike my dad.
