2. Jason’s Pet Relocation (JPR) Singapore, is an up and coming pet relocation
enterprise offering services internationally. Currently we are a provisional member
of the International Pet and Animal Transport Association (IPATA).

3. The pet should have six months continuous residence or since birth at the country
from where you are exporting.
A microchip should be implanted into your dog/cat by a veterinary and must meet
ISO Standard. The microchip has its unique number and contains the details of the
pet’s date of birth, breed, name and owner’s details.
A health certificate must be obtained either from a government or a private
veterinary. It should clear the pet of carrying any contagious diseases and state that
the pet is healthy. The health certificate should be obtained no more than 7 days
prior to the date of export.
A parasite treatment should also be conducted for identifying both internal and
external parasites. External parasites should be examined 10 days prior and internal
parasites 4 days prior to export.
All dogs/ cats hailing from countries of category B, C and D should present a rabies
vaccination certificate and rabies antibody titre test must be done. The Rabies
vaccination details vary based on the country the pet is from. It should be done
either 3 months or 4 months prior to export based on the AVA rules.
An import permit should be obtained from AVA 30 days prior to the date of arrival.
If your pet falls under the category C or D you need to book space for quarantine.
They will be kept there for 30 days. Pets under the category A and B must get a
declaration by the master or caption of the aircraft or ship.
4. Formalities differ for every country. You need to know what documents they require
and follow accordingly. Health and vaccination certificates and dog licence are
mandatory. Also check with the airlines about their restrictions and formalities.
You will require an export permit from AVA as well. If you want to tranship your pets
you need a transhipment licence from AVA.

Place pet against a wall in a normal standing position by placing one hand under the
belly and the other under the chin.
Ask the assistant to mark:
A = Length of the pet from tip of its nose to the root of its tail.
B = Height from the floor to top of the leg or elbow joint
C = Width across the right & left shoulders
D = Height of the pet in natural standing position from the floor to the top of its
head or the tip of its ear (for breeds that have erect ears).
