Event-Based Activity: a limited time interaction, like a one-
day event, a week-long camp, etc.
 Reading a career-focused book
Short Term Activity: longer than an event, like a 12-15 week
semester or several months
 Inviting a guest to speak about their profession
Extended Term Activity: a longer term commitment, like six
months, a year, or longer
 Holding an award ceremony for the student
