GLOBAL INITATIVES – ‘RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS’ for CNBC
PRODUCER/DIRECTOR.
June 10’ – Feb 11’.
‘Responsible Business’ is a 13 episode television series that showcases leading global corporations
that, in partnership with government, NGOs and other international organizations, develop
business-driven solutions to some of the greatest challenges facing our world today. The series
highlights the issues – poverty, climate change, human rights, corruption, education and healthcare
among others – and explores innovative strategies and partnerships that place corporate citizenship
at the very centre of international business. Each episode showcases companies that are setting new
benchmarks for measuring business, social and environmental success.
As Producer/Director on this series my duties were to research and source out unique
environmental stories in Africa, Arabia, India, Asia and Australasia. To carry out all aspects of the
production process - producing, directing, scripting and to oversee the edit to ensure quality
packages for the show were delivered on schedule.

CHALLENGE AND SEGMENT PRODUCER: August ’09 to January ’10.
Responsible for creatively developing and producing 38 TV challenges across 3 popular reality TV
shows. My role was to oversee every detailed aspect of each challenge from script to screen.
Responsibilities included sourcing locations, incorporating local flavour and tradition into the
games, testing the game, explaining the game to the contestants, overseeing the running of the
game, health and safety, managing the Art department and to organise and produce award
segments.

ASIAN TOUR - GOLF SHOW & HIGHLIGHTS SHOW
ASSISTANT PRODUCER AND BROADCAST LIASON. Jan 10’ to March 10’
My job was to assist the producer across all elements of production and post-production. My duties
as broadcaster Liaison was to organise and distribute important satellite information to MCR’s of
other broadcasters around the world. I was also in charge of overseeing the ‘play-outs’ of each
Asian Tour show, making sure the episode(s) were ‘played down’ to the correct broadcaster(s) at
the correct time.

NOKIA FOOTBALL CRAZY - Football Crazy is a lighthearted football entertainment show that
is aired to 24 different countries in Asia. A one-hour show broadcasted at 8pm on a Thursday and
two hours on a Saturday morning at 10am. Job role consisted of:
• Responsible for recruiting sports/media personalities to appear on the show either in the
studio or on location. Stars recruited by myself included Jackie Chan, the Black Eyed Peas
and David Beckham.
• I produced, directed and edited a wealth of VT packages for the show in Singapore, South
East Asia and Australia. E.G. Topical comedy sketches with the program’s talent;
producing and directing lifestyle and colour packages such as yoga training with Sydney
F.C on Bondi beach; a trip on the Oriental Express and a 10 part soccer skills series with
the Brazilian Soccer School in Singapore.
• Developed strong working relationship with leading international brands including; Nike,
Adidas and Lotto.
• Script writing for the presenters – links to camera, voice over commentary for edited
football highlights VT’s.
• Namaji graphic operator. Responsible for preparing computer graphics and super imposing
them during the live shows.
• I have a strong understanding of how a T.V Gallery (PCR), Media Ingest and Transmission
facilities operate. Proficient knowledge of Broadcast workflow within the modern T.V
landscape.
• Hosted and organised guests of the show.
BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE SUPER SUNDAY – Job role was one of Associate Producer
working on two live English Premier League matches every Sunday for 9 months of the football
season. The show consisted of an hour long pre-show, a 90 minute live game, 30 minute post
analysis show, another 90 minute live game followed by a 30 minute post show called Final Score.
Responsibilities included:
• Prepare footage and edit montage VTs.
• Log footage and conduct edit for premier league highlights packages, player overlays and
news pieces. Prepare the relevant graphics for all VTs such as score locators, full frames,
tickers etc.

• Display creative control for treatment of VT’s utilising FCP effects and including music
when necessary.
• Super impose namaji graphics during the live show and live premier league matches.
• Update the presenters with team news, formations and breaking football news.
• Live log the games.
• Co-ordinate and supervise the VT operator and editors when editing highlight packages for
half-time and full-time.
• Clip up post match interviews, colour packages fed down by our affiliate broadcaster. (Sky
Sports)
ESPN SPORTS CENTRE – A 30 minute sports news show broadcasted twice a day.
Responsibilities included logging news footage and conducting edits for the production’s
montages, menus, break play outs and sound on tape news VTs. Plus I prepared show graphics and
super imposed them live.
SENIOR PRODUCTION ASSISTANT ON: Saturday Prime Time Premier League, BPL
Celebration, The English F.A Cup Final, Tiger Locker Room, Samsung Kick-Off (quiz show) and
EURO 2008 Football Tournament.

SHORT FILMS – Written, directed and acted in: Jimmy (1999), Tear Drops (1999), Daddy's Boy
(2000). Acted in Pilot advert for Sony (2000). Produced and directed P.I - (documentary) (2005),
Behind the Curtain (2006), Pulled (documentary) (2006). THEATRE - Performed in the
following at the Edinburgh Festival: The Secret Garden; The Hired Man (musical) (1999). Worked
