The presenter will talk about how computers have
had an effect on education and how we learn. E.g.
the introduction of interactive white boards. Statistics
of how many schools in a particular area are now
using interactive whiteboards. Also we‟ll interview
school kids and teachers and ask them how the
development of computers has changed their
learning. E.g. they no longer write out their homework
they type it up, teachers sometimes set their students
homework using computers etc.

What does the evolution of computers mean for the
future of society. We‟ll take a look at how the
generation of computers is continuing to grow and
the presenter will ask members of the public what
they think the next generation of computers will
contain. Then as this is the last episode of the
evolution of technology topic there will be a montage
of clips from previous episodes to end he episode.

How are we following OFCOM regulations
• The watershed in the UK is from 9pm to 5am
• OFCOM states that material shown before the
  watershed should be suitable for young viewers.
• We feel that as we will be showing images and
  clips from video games that are rated 18 some
  things might not be suitable for young viewers
  which is why we‟ve scheduled or documentary at
  9pm.

In a typical month Channel 5 reaches ¾ of
the UK population or 43 million people.

Channel 5 provides viewers with a varied mix of
programming which includes entertainment,
sport, documentaries, kids, drama, news and
films.

Gadget Show and blockbuster movies for young
