The lecture on ‘Effective Communication Skills’ was delivered by Mr.
Suresh Mehta, Training and Placement Officer. The lecture focussed on
the importance of effective communication in our lives. The lecture was
duly assisted by various illustrations and visual aids which made it more
meaningful. The importance of 7 C’s of communication was also
highlighted in the lecture. The speaker emphasised the role of
communication skills as a key factor to be successful in corporate
world. He also discussed the significance of body language.
The session was enriched by the valuable remarks of Dr. S.S Aggarwal,
Director General & Dr.S.K Aggarwal, Principal KIIT College of
Engineering. They highlighted the Do’s and Don’ts of effective
communication.

2. The session was attended by 35 faculties of Engineering, IT and
Management department. The session ended with a happy note.
