Spanish artist Joss López presents snapshots of life in the Capital City of the Netherland in solid ink and vibrant watercolour. His sketches show the beautiful atmosphere of A'dam surrounds, the neverending bicyclists, the exquisite medieval buildings, the canals environment, the vibrant nightlife culture at The Red District, and the local colorful characters. This book is a unique keepsake of A'dam, of a city that is famous for the Arts.

4. Amsterdam Travel Series is the name of this dairy-journey made on location in a week within the Urban Sketchers Symposium at
the same city on 24th-27th July 2019, where around 1500 people took to the streets to draw and capture every scene, street and
corner of the city.
Urban sketchers capture a specific moment in time by sketching live on sidewalks and at events. Sketching allows for a little more
whimsy and flair than photography. It contains that narrative feel found in graphic books.
Sketching is a colourful and personal way to share experiences. As an artist, I capture life under my unique view. There are warm-
th and immediacy to reportage drawing that adds different elements or techniques depending on the sketcher.
Urban Sketchers is a non-profit organization that aims to raise the artistic, storytelling and educational value of location drawing;
promoting its practice and connecting people around the world who draw on location where they live and travel through to 8
points to provide a unifying vision for the global urban sketching community:
- We draw on location, indoors or out, capturing what we see from direct observation.
- Our drawings tell the story of our surroundings, the places we live and where we travel.
- Our drawings are a record of time and place.
- We are truthful to the scenes we witness.
- We use any kind of media and cherish our individual styles.
- We support each other and draw together.
- We share our drawings online.
