2. What we did first Firstly we met at my house and gathered all the equipment we needed (Camera + tripod). Next we set the tripod and the camera up at the right angle and height. We then started to record part of the first scene, and checked if the quality was good, and if the angles were as we wanted. After that, we recorded the full first scene, with 10 seconds either side of it to allow for the editing, and in case any mistakes were made.
3. The next step We finished filming what we needed to film in the house, and then decided to move to the woods to film the vision scene. When we got there we had to find a suitable spot to place the camera, it was quite difficult but we found the right spot. We had to film an aerial shot, which was going to be difficult, we propped the tripod against a tree and managed to film one of Craig dead on the floor. We had to bare in mind that there would be the sound of cars as the woods was very near to a main road, and a train station… we will have to take this into account when we start editing.
4. Now we had a few good clips for our final piece, however we still needed to get a few clips of Craig running and the surrounding scenery. Craig would stand still and slowly move around looking very confusingly at his surroundings. To add the effect we wanted, the cameraman had to circle behind, and with Craig to create a circular effect. When we watched over the clip it looked just as we wanted it to, during the clips the cameraman acts as something behind Craig, but we don’t know what it is. Again we would have to take into account the sounds of the road and trains. Thirdly
5. Finally We had gathered all of the clips that we wanted for that day, now we would start the process of editing. We have a good idea of how we want the final intro to look, one member of the group has already started editing what we agreed on, and during the next lesson we will put all of our input in as a group, and try and come up with some ideas to make the piece flow well, and make sure it’s a thriller.
