  • Educational distributors need content for digital native teachers and students. Folger Library as content provider for the current Great Perf. MacBeth broadcast; IslandWood as content provider for the upcoming Ken Burns National Parks series 60,000 current subscribers; 100,000 by August
  • Partners have offered to harness their fundraising machines to help us do more
  • Our next project: closer to our core content Harnesses social networking + curriculum + video to further our mission
  • Reflecting conversation at the last board retreat. Focus on the center, the rest will follow.

Ten-year Goal in the Strategic Plan During the next ten years, IslandWood educational programs will make a measurable impact on both academic learning and environmental and community stewardship.   We will evidence this achievement by establishing a body of knowledge that demonstrates the efficacy of IslandWood educational methods: This body of knowledge will enable IslandWood to share its unique and effective teaching methods, both on campus and beyond the campus boundaries .
