    • Web 2.0
        • Greater opportunities to customise the web for a variety of learning styles.
        • The gradual integration of computing as a part of the learning and teaching experience is equivalent to an evolutionary process.
        • This paradigm shift parallels technological developments across sectors of industry and production since the late 1970’s with the introduction of the personal computer.
    • Web 2.0 is a buzz word or blanket term a shorthand for a set of internet technologies that allow a greater degree of usability and integration aimed at a more fragmented, rich and varied audience. It could be argued that there is no longer an audience in the traditional sense but individual users.
    • Principles of collaboration and sharing informing the ethos of Web 2.0 can be re-contextualised for learning and teaching scenarios.
