To Whom It May Concern,
I am honored to write in reference for Gail Manni, CPC. I have known Gail for ten years
in her progressively more responsible roles within the Lifespan health care system. I
know her as a motivated adult learner who consistently seeks new knowledge and
challenges for application of new skill sets.
Gail is a very competent professional who brings a strong work ethic, emotional maturity
and leadership presence to her daily work setting. She has the ability to critically analyze
complex financial processes involving the entire cycle of the patient experience in the
health care environment. In the Comprehensive Cancer Center Gail was asked to lead the
restructure of our revenue cycle, working with multiple disciplines across the system.
Her ability to analyze, develop work plans, coordinate teams and implement change was
demonstrated with our ability to demonstrably improve our timeliness of filing,
collections and decrease in denials. All this was done as she supervised a team of coders
and secretaries for data entry, coding integrity and compliance with all regulatory
standards.
As we have converted to a new electronic health record (Epic) and integrated finance
systems Gail has been instrumental in the planning process, migration of data into the
new system and being a resource to other users. Her specific specialty of denials
management has positively impacted the bottom line of the organization.
Both on a personal and professional level I am sorry to see Gail leave Rhode Island
Hospital. I would be happy to discuss any career opportunities she is being considered
for. Please feel free to contact me for further information.
Respectfully,
