wanted to connect, to learn from others, and to network locally.

this conference would start building almost 4 years ago. !
!
Whether you are an alumni or if this is your first time at

only equipped with tactics and armed with knowledge to better

have found a home, a family of bloggers who is here to support
you and be your biggest cheerleader. !
!
I believe in you and I believe in the power of blogging. Together
we are stronger and united we are a voice to be reckoned with, so
reach out, connect, and tap into the resource that is known as
FLBlogCon. Weâre here for you!!

3. Our Philosophy
FLBlogCon was founded on the principal of openly sharing experiences and expertise
with others. This conference provides one day where we cast aside differences in
backgrounds, blogging topics, and competitive goals, and instead embrace coming
together in the spirit of cooperation, helpfulness, and friendship.!
!
We know that you as speakers will embrace this philosophy and will focus on being
great role models of professionalism as demonstrated by yourself and your fellow
bloggers. Please avoid putting down other bloggers or referring to other blogs as non-examples
in the course of your presentations. Most importantly, we want all bloggers
and attendees to feel welcome and included no mater their experience or background.!

Hanging Out With Google+
Carolyn Capern fell in love with stories and technology at an early
age, and never looked back. A blogger since 2005, she has worked
hard to develop her skills as a literary Jedi and relatable
communicator both online and off. In 2012, Carolyn co-founded CT
Social with Greg Trujillo, combining her love of writing with her love of
social media to form the communications arm of the company.!
!
Carolyn was an early adopter of Google+, joining the platform in July
2011 and becoming more active starting in early 2012. She is an avid
fan of Hangouts on Air, co-hosting Zombies on Air and participating as
a regular featured panelist on the #GetBizy small business show, and
appearing as a frequent guest on other shows. Carolyn is passionate
about helping Google+ newbies get comfortable with the platform, and
regularly shares social media relationship tips in her posts at ct-social.
