- Carers Advisory Line Carers Victoria is funded to support carers in all caring roles across the state. To that end we have (show card) an information and support line which is a freecall number. The carer can ring that number and speak to a lovely person, well versed in carer issues. I call it a one-stop shop, good for new carers starting out who want to know about services and supports that are out there, or carers further along the journey who are checking in to see if there is anything new. Or a carer who has received yet another form from Centrelink and who thinks they will do violent damage if they don’t hear a friendly voice!
