• 1. How did you attract/ address your audience?
By Dominika Kalafutova
• 2. As you can see, I have studied the current rock magazines industry which helped me to create a rock magazine which have the same codes and connotations as the magazines from the shops and that’s why my magazine look professional and different.
When people will look at my magazine, they will automatically recognise whom the magazine is aimed at and why, for example: big masthead- Gravity- black colours where I used stroke, and black shadow which gave the whole name a 3D effect, red-yellow and black colour!- rock colours. I chose the white background which is good as I can use any colours I want e.g. dark, bright- as it will stand out. I have produced this magazine like this because when the young generation will see this product they will feel like it was designed for them.
So then, my target audience can easily relate to and understand ,which is good for me as they will want to buy my product.
I also used a yellow puff- as you can see in professional magazines – where I used black and white colour writing to make it stand out. Then 3 main images – 2 girls and 1 boy- which is quite unconventional, and which are repeating in double spread page, and contents page but with different face expressions and positions.
