How did you work within your role?
My role was to be the director , and also the script maker . This meant I had to make sure everyone knew what they were doing and made sure
everyone knew their lines . To write the script I looked at past videos and goggled interrogations to make the script seem more realistic . I also held the
boom stick during the filming so the sound quality was better .
How did you work within the team ?
Everyone in my team had different jobs to do . For example , two people were the actors and another was the camera man. This worked
Out well as everyone had an idea of what they were doing which made the filming more easier and faster as there wasn’t a lot of delays . If one of us in
the team
Weren’t sure about what they were doing one of us in the team would help them out and make sure they have a better understanding of the role they
were given .
What challenges did you experience?
• Before we started to film it was stressful and confusing because everyone in the team were not sure about
the jobs they were meant to do and some people were incapable of doing certain jobs so as the director I
had to swap jobs around so everyone was comfortable doing a job they weren't confused about .
• During the filming we faced some troubles as some of the actors didn’t feel like they had time to learn all
their lines which delayed the filming . Some of the actors also came in different clothes on other days of
filming which also delayed the filming .
• How did you find using equipment ?
• It was quite easy using equipment / finding it because we didn’t need a lot of equipment . All we needed
was some sheets and a photo for the interrogation so finding the equipment was fairly straight forward .
Using the equipment wasn’t complicated at all as the equipment had to just be placed onto the
interrogation table .
Did you set the camera to manual or automatic settings ?
• The camera was on the manual setting . This allowed us to ensure we had full control of the camera as
well as getting exposure and composition we wanted . If it were on automatic settings the effect would be
different because the camera would have registered too much darkness and would give a different effect .
What worked well in the filming process?
The thing that went well during the filming process was that everyone worked well with the jobs they
were given and suited the part . For example , the actors put a lot of effort during filming and played the
role well. Another thing that worked well during the filming process was the different camera angles used
in our filming . For example , the close up shots in our video worked well as a whole .
What areas of filming do you need to build on ?
As a team I think we need to work on timing , this is because sometimes we didn’t get set up on
time or were distracted on doing other things which delayed our filming time . The timing put a lot
of pressure on our group as we had to quickly finish on time , which made us rush while filming . So
, I don’t think our video is at its best as it could've been because we were rushing so we can stay on
time .
