• Know your candidate
• Ensure clear understanding of the JD; sell the
position/company
• Clarify client expectations to him/her
• Keep him/her engaged/appraised
• Find out about any other opportunities a
candidate is exploring
To avoid your candidates getting
counter offer
• Ask Questions
• Find out at screening level, the real reasons
driving and motivating a candidate
• What is the reason for change?
• Talk to a candidate early on about the possibility
of them being counter offered
• Persistent follow up is a MUST
• Keep up communication especially post offer
stage
TIPS
• Don’t believe in what ever candidate says.
• Check how genuinely he is looking for a change.
• Never force a candidate for interview attending
process.
• If you can make the candidates feel that their
application is important for you and you are
giving it due consideration then definitely you can
reduce the No Shows.
