When you’re generating leads anywhere, but especially on places

that you don’t intrude.

People go onto Facebook to get away from people trying to
advertise in there. It’s not like on Google where you go on usually
looking for conversation, so ads are an expected and sometimes
even welcome part of it.

Nope, Facebook is just the opposite. People are in there to have fun
and socialize. They’re there to spy on their friends basically. See
who’d doing what, who’s thinking what, and whether or not their
ex from high school got fat or not.

That’s why generating leads on Facebook is such a delicate
activity! You have to work your way into that social environment
without disrupting it.

We’ve all seen the people at parties who just try too hard. You
know it’s usually the person that you get embarrassed for. Well
we’ve also seen that person on Facebook trying to shove their
business opportunity down everyone’s throat with each and every
wall post or update.
Heck, some people don’t even put up fun pictures to look at, they
put up their business logos or something. That’s just not what
Facebook is about, and that’s the cardinal rule,
and the one that you don’t want to break.

So if you can refrain from breaking that #1 rule then you’re headed
in the right direction when generating leads on Facebook.
