Comments: Oban 14 y/o can fool you. It has a mild nose experience with an initially aggressive
palate. Warming. Long lasting warmth. The nose hints of peat. The taste…none at first, but after
the second and third sip you will experience minimal peat. This Highland whiskey is what you
would normally expect it to be, and yet different. It has a bit of a surprise. It is a whiskey you
could enjoy almost anywhere, anytime, with any meal…..and all your friends. The Oban distillery
was established in 1794 and has a capacity of 670,000 Liters of distillate. They have special
bottling at the distillery as well and an Oban 32 year old which was released in 2002.
