Daddy’s Tour of Duty October & November 2009

Daddy is a pilot

Daddy flies the C-130.

It’s a big plane that

carries cargo and

people.

Where is Daddy going?

Daddy will be flying over to a country called Afghanistan to help the other soldiers.

What will Daddy be doing?

Daddy will be transporting wounded soldiers to the hospital, as well as taking people and supplies to other bases.

What will Daddy wear?

Daddy will wear a

special tan uniform and

a safety vest to keep

him safe. See, he’s

even got special boots!

Daddy’s plane

Here is the back of

Daddy’s plane. The red

seats are where the

paratroopers sit before

they jump out of the

plane. They are very

brave!

Daddy misses you!

But he’ll be back very soon!
