  • This presentation is to demonstrate EZcall Integration and Assignment software.
  • Describe the basic structure of EZcall, describe that EZcall is used as the primary interface to send alarms from any other system to staff devices or annunciators. Explain how EZcall can be used to enable voice talk-back into intercom systems or voice-nurse call systems and how this allows staff to stay mobile and not have to sit at a nurse station any longer to wait for patient calls. Describe the 3 types of call assignments and determine which will be best for your customer.
  • Mention that EZcall can be centralized to monitor several different sites all together or act as a central monitoring system. Example: a fire alarm system in each facility can report alarms to be displayed at a central switchboard location. Explain that EZcall may also be used in a single facility. Multiple EZcall systems can also be linked to act as one large networked system.
  • Explain how EZcall can be used for more than just interface software. It can be for more than just sending nurse call to staff mobile devices. School campuses can also use EZcall to dispatch mass amounts of SMS messages to students during a disaster, or to output Text-to-Speech announcements.
  • Briefly explain the many different client modules available with EZcall and what each can be used for. AIC – used to receive alarm messages from various alarm systems EDC – used to display alarm messages on a PC display PDC – used to show alarm popup messages on a PC TTC – used to output voice text-to-speech or prerecorded DCS – can be sued for dementia monitoring using most any alarm system to monitor sensors DCSreports – can be used to print history reports or review staff response times or help in preparing care plans or help asses where staff are most needed MDS – can be used to output to LED message boards or Email SPC – can be used to output to CCTV controllers for camera call’ups or to pocket paging transmitters (local or remote) TPC – can be used to output text messages to wireless phones on wireless phone systems and enable voice talk-back into voice capable systems NMC – used to monitor any device on an Ethernet network and generate alarms from unresponsive network devices (ideal for IT managers) CAC – provides basic command line outputs from alarm events that allow Ezcall to be customized to suit any system or facility
  • Explain how one single EZcall system can monitor any quantity of alarm systems, with no charge per system for client licensing like all competitors, and output to any number of output devices, again with no individual client licensing fee’s for outputs either. Alarms from any system can output to any output device from wired annunciators to contact devices to any mobile device or audio outputs like paging systems. ONE SYSTEM CAN DO IT ALL! ONE SITE OR MANY SITES – EZCALL IS ALL YOUR CUSTOMER NEEDS.

  • Explain how EZcall provides numerous different user-interface options including text and map display outputs, Target display outputs allowing managers a quick view of staff response times, annunciator outputs and audible outputs to overhead paging or local speakers. Low priority messages can be sent to managers via email or troubles sent to maintenance via email or SMS to mobiles phones. EZcall also offers several types of manual text messaging outputs from the TMC, FCC to the PC chat-type application (Personal Messenger) that can be used for PC to PC chatting as well as sending text messages to interfaces devices on Ezcall. REMEMBER! ezText is free if used as a stand-alone and not networked into EZcall. Get your customers to try it and they can use it as a text chatting application within a company, and if they see a need or benefit they can connect it into a DCS server.
  • Explain how EZcall is the easiest of it’s kind of software for end users to use. EZcall can be setup to only show users what they need to see, eliminating features (from view) that a customer does not want. If you can, run the DCS on a PC and have a staff member go to the Profiles window and change the assignments of a room, then have them try it on any other integration software – they will surely find EZcall the easiest to remember to use.
  • The EDC alarm text display (with icons) can e fully customized, plus you can setup skins to have it “look” any way you want, you can even include your company or customers logo into the display screen. Several EDC clients can run on a single PC to show different locations or event types, such as one for staff presence and another for alarms. The TDC target display client is ideal to help staff see how well they are working or help motivate staff, or it can be used on a managers PC’s to act as a quick heads’up of how well staff are working each day. Managers set targets and the display simply shows calls that are past the target response time and the large counter shows how many calls (per shift) are outside the target.
  • The Wireless Wizard, or VAC, or DCS or FCC can all be used to display alarms as text lists and/or on graphical maps. They are all fully customizable.
  • If you can, run the DCS on a PC and have a staff member go to the Profiles or schedules window and change the assignments of a room, then have them try it on any other integration software – they will surely find EZcall the easiest to remember to use. Show the customer how calls can be assigned by individual room or by ward, making large changes very very quick.
  • You can show the dementia control window alone t explain each Dementia event and demonstrate how simple each one is to edit and modify. You can also use the DCS simulator to completely demonstrate a Dementia room without actually connecting to a system. Show them how user-friendly the profiles are to view and edit. ONE OF THE BEST FEATURES OF EZCALL DEMENTIA MONITORING: a facility can have dementia monitoring setup in one or 2 rooms, and regular nurse call in the remainder of the ward, all running on the same system! There is no other system that can do that!
  • Demonstrate the error logging window (if using Dementia Monitoring) and the maintenance window to show the customer how EZcall makes device maintenance and repairs and replacements a 3 click process. Ask your customer to get any competing integration software packages to make it so simple. Show how the maintenance window can also be used to perform coverage tests for wireless devices, this is often overseen by most installers and many other systems.
  • Once again show your customer how simple the EZcall applications are to use. If you are selling a wireless server or iServer show the customer how the Wireless Wizard makes administration of their wireless devices INCREDIBLY easy to do and how they can maintain their own wireless device adds, moves, and changes with very little or no training at all since it is sooo easy to use. The Wireless Wizard was specifically designed to be easy to use for end users. Ask your customer to see and try administering wireless devices on any of your competitors’ systems and they will immediately see that Ezcall is the best product to use for administering wireless duress systems.
  • Show your customer how the TMC or Personal Messenger can be used to send manual text messages on the system as needed.
  • You can demonstrate how the TMC makes administration of LED message boards extremely easy. The best part is that customers can see all messages boards networked to the system and view what is shown on each without needing to go see them. Message boards can be fully controlled from the TMC, users can add manual messages to each one directly, or clear messages from them as needed. Ask them to see other integration software do that!
