WHAT IS BVSWMA, INC.?  Non-Profit Local Government Corporation  Founded in 2010 by the City of Bryan and City of College Station  Governed by seven member Board of Directors  City Staff provides additional guidance via Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)  Annual financial audits  BVSWMA, Inc. owns and operates the Twin Oaks Landfill and Twin Oaks Compost Facilities  BVSWMA, Inc. owns and maintains the closed Rock Prairie Road Landfill  Self-funded by user fees  25 full time employees  Provides solid waste disposal services for the Brazos Valley Region

  • 4. OPERATING HOURS  Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm  Saturday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm  Closed: Sundays, New Year’s, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

RATES & FEES  Tipping fee: $26.69 per ton, $2.00 minimum charge  Additional fees:  Freon Recovery (Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners): $10.80  Tires  > 19.5”: $3.25  19.6-24.5”: $8.65  >24.5”: $21.60  Unsecured Load: $15.00 per ton, $15.00 minimum fee  Pull-off service: $25.00 If you are a Bryan or College Station resident, please bring your current utility bill and photo ID. You may qualify for free disposal
