5. Sponsorship Policy
The proposed Policyโs focus is on Sponsorships
and requests for City support. The Policy includes
guidelines, criteria, approval hierarchy,
restrictions, and procedures for application.
Part 1: When City asks for donations/sponsors for its facilities,
properties, special events, and tournaments.
Part 2: When groups or individuals ask the City for support or
sponsorship (financial or in-kind) of their event, program, or
service.

โข Is the event of general interest to the public?
โข Does a minimum of 40% of the funds raised
directly benefit the College Station community?

10. Sponsorship Policy
The proposed Policy is intended to be at City
Manager level approval. Sponsorship agreements
that are valued at $50,000 or more, or at the
discretion of the City Manager, will be brought
before the City Council for discussion and
approval.
