Requirements for All Members
• Engaged in the international health and development field.
• Committed to advancing the global health agenda through
strengthening community health systems.
• Committed to the values promoted by CORE Group: collective
capacity, equity, local experience and knowledge,
participation of civil society, and impact.
• Committed to playing an active, collaborative role in the
Community Health Network and Working Group activities.
• Committed to advancing community health program
knowledge, organizational collaboration, and effective policy
to support those in greatest need.
Membership Types

Member Organization
• Incorporated in the US as a 501(c)3 Organization.
• Receive substantial citizen support (includes individuals,
foundations)
• Required to vote and participate in CORE Group governance
Associate Organization
• Can be a for-profit company, department at a university or
other division of higher education
Individual Associate
• Requires two references, at least one from a current CORE
Group Member or Associate

Application Process
• Application involves basic information as well as:
– Current and former involvement in CORE Group
– Why you would like to become a Member
– Annual Report, Form 990, 501©3 Status (if applicable)
• All complete organizational applications are submitted to
Board for review
• Organizational Members, if approved, are then referred to the
Membership to vote on at the next Spring Conference
• Associate Organizations applications are decided upon by the
Board alone
• Individual Associates are reviewed by CORE Staff for approval

Requirements for All Members • Engaged in the international health and development field. • Committed to advancing the global health agenda through strengthening community health systems. • Committed to the values promoted by CORE Group: collective capacity, equity, local experience and knowledge, participation of civil society, and impact. • Committed to playing an active, collaborative role in the Community Health Network and Working Group activities. • Committed to advancing community health program knowledge, organizational collaboration, and effective policy to support those in greatest need. Member Organization • Incorporated in the US as a 501(c)3 Organization. • Receive substantial citizen support (includes individuals, foundations) • Required to vote and participate in CORE Group governance Associate Organization • Can be a for-profit company, department at a university or other division of higher education Individual Associate • Requires two references, at least one from a current CORE Group Member or Associate Membership Types #GHPC16

Application Process • Application involves basic information as well as: – Current and former involvement in CORE Group – Why you would like to become a Member – Annual Report, Form 990, 501©3 Status (if applicable) • All complete organizational applications are submitted to Board for review • Organizational Members, if approved, are then referred to the Membership to vote on at the next Spring Conference • Associate Organizations applications are decided upon by the Board alone • Individual Associates are reviewed by CORE Staff for approval Joining CORE Group #GHPC16
