STARTED
Boombotix was founded in 2009 to
create an alternative to headphones.
While bike commuting to work,
Boombotix’s founder realized that at
times, using headphones can be very
dangerous. That experience inspired him
to create an ultraportable speaker that
could withstand the rigors of everyday
wear and tear.
Today, the Boombotix vision is true to
its original goal: to deliver the richest
mobile audio experience possible
whether you’re on a bike, hiking in the
back country or hanging out in your
backyard.

3. THE BLANK CANVAS
Our latest speaker, the Boombot REX, was built to be the premier ultraportable speaker.
Featuring a ruggedized construction, water-resistant build and clip, you can take your music
with you, wherever you go. Additionally, a built-in microphone allows users to take calls on-
the-go.
The sharp geometrical lines of the Boombot REX has made it one of the most customizeable
products available.

4. CONFIGURATION
GRILL
This is the most customizeable area
on the product. You can do full color
prints from edge-to-edge. This is
a great place to place logos or
graphics.
BEZEL
This is the interchangeable part
that surrounds the grill. This part is
available in a variety of colors to
give your product a cool 2-tone look.
HIP CLIP
This is the part used to fasten
your Boombot to pockets, bags,
belts, straps and more. This part is
available in a number of colors and
can also be customized on higher
volume orders.

5. THE PROCESS
WE MOVE FAST
DESIGN
Clients approach our team with an
idea or complete design. We evaluate
feasibility and work with them to get a
design we are 100% confident in. (1-2
weeks)
PROTOTYPE
With our rapid prototyping technologies,
we will turn around a hands-on color
matched proof for the client’s final
approval.
PRODUCTION
With a 50% deposit on order, we start
full production. Lead times vary by order
but in most cases we can deliver finished
goods in under two weeks.

6. TECHNOLOGY
Our company is a pioneer in mass customization
technologies. We use industry leading digital printing
methods to ensure our products delivery state-of-the-art
quality, consistency, and speed.
OUR FACILITY
Most of our custom projects are done in our San
Francisco headquarters. On larger projects we can also
use our factory directly in China. We manage every
part of the order from design and quality control to
logistics.

repair/replacement of all of our product within the first
