Who are you? I maintain my own personal or class wiki. I have posted content on a wiki. I allow my students to use wikis for research. I have accessed a wiki before (including wikipedia). I have never heard of a wiki before.

What is a wiki anyway?

a webpage consisting of three different parts and that can be edited by different users

The name was based on

the Hawaiian term wiki wiki ,

meaning "quick" or "super-fast".

goal: to make exchanges of ideas easier
