  • 2. So far this year there have been 60,422 wildfires that have burned 7,721,459 acres
  • 3. Firefighters protect our forests
  • 4. And our homes
  • 5. In 2010, firefighters responded to an estimated 1,331,500 fires
  • 6. Firefighters work at any hour,
  • 7. And in extreme temperatures.
  • 8. They are the first to arrive at an accident
  • 9. And stay until the job is done.
  • 10. Firefighters work together as a team.
  • 11. They look out for each other
  • 12. They rescue our loved ones,
  • 13. and the places that we live.
  • 14. Firefighters are heroes,they put their lives on the lineeach and every day to protect those whom they serve so proudly.

  • 17. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation was established in 1992 by Congress. It is a non-profit agency whose mission is “to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes and to provide resources to assist their survivors in rebuilding their lives.”
    Donations are needed to be able to offer the help and support these families need. Their loved ones paid the ultimate price. Now it is our turn to give. Please join me and support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
