- So I accepted to speak at Ignite and while I was thinking of how to do the presentation, some funny things happened – No! don’t do that
- How do you hack a bus seat? I'll tell you
- Never stand near the bus door - those guys are never getting a seat!
- Aiming for the window seat is generally impossible - unless you are already seated
- crowdsource your effort - If your friend is already seated on a seat, ask him to save space for you to sit when the other gets up
- Once you get in, look around to see the most comfortable place to stand
- in trains, especially first class, just wear an embroidered shirt :p
- The best place to stand normally is to lean on the back rest of the seat
- ...standing here will also bring in air draft wich is good
- If the bus is not that crowded, stand by holding onto both back-rests of the seat
- Ideally stand near pole to capture 2 seats at once
- pro tip - in a train, stand in the middle of the compartment, increase ur chances of getting a seat to 400%
- Maintain eye contact - ppl will out of window for landmarks and look at the person sitting next on their seat
- Look at body language - ppl who are abt to get up will shuffle in their seats
- If the person looks at you and then outside, he is surely going to stand up very soon. Start positioning yourself NOW!
