This document outlines a teacher's proposed trip from Paris to Auschwitz following the forced migration patterns of Jews during the Holocaust. The goals are to enhance understanding of the governmental machinery behind the Holocaust, witness post-Holocaust cultural vibrancy, pay respects to victims, and gain knowledge to share with students. Specific sites in Paris, Berlin, Prague, Krakow, and Budapest are mentioned. Upon return, information from the trip will be used by freshman writing students in an integrated unit with English and Human Geography classes.
