2. Summer’s arrived!! Let’s list down things we
crave for !!
A refreshing dip in cool waters
Walking through the canopy of trees
Staring at the bright display of stars
All Check!!
Now add to it the Oddroad fun as well. So we
offroad on a picturesque dirt road. Trek to
the top of the hill . Camp overnight by the
lake. And visit a 6-stage waterfall !!
And not to mention the crazy company and
the extremely take-my-breath-away greenery
of Sakleshpur!! Sounds like a weekend you
would never want to end!

3. DAY I:
We reach our destination at 6AM (having started
from Bangalore the previous night). Post break-
fast, we start our trek to Murkan Gudda and take
that coveted dip in the lake. After our lunch by
the lake side., we hop on to the Jeep and offroad
to the scenic dirt roads of Uddenama-
radavaare. Come back to the campsite by evening
and spend the night by the lake beneath the
stars. We may go for a night trek if light permits
Day II:
We trek back to the homestay (after our calls to
nature!!) and have a well deserved breakfast!
We visit the waterfalls splash around and return
by Lunch.
Stay around till evening tea in the homestay—
relaxing and try out a few games if strength per-
mits and leave for Bangalore there after. Dinner
enroute.

4. THE BIG QUESTION!!
The whole trip will cost you Rs. 5250 per person.
This includes your transportation, stay, camping
gear fee, all meals, jeep charges, guide charges
and permits.
Fun and Memories are for free!!
This wont include your personal expenditure on al-
cohol and tips.

6. THE ODDROADER
Akanksha is an eternal wanderer,
and fittingly that is what her vis-
iting card says.
She is at her happiest when she
is travelling or researching about
it.
She has been across India doing all sorts of crazy
stuff and dodging her way away from the tourist-
circuit. For her, travel is more than mere addition
of sights or a tick on one’s destination list. In her
opinion, travel makes one more accepting and con-
nected. She claims that each journey has changed
her in its own way.
