Subject: Reference Letter for Jorge Adolfo Rodriguez Guillen
To whom it may concern.
My name is Soledad Escolar and I am PhD in Computer Science
for University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain, where I have been
Teaching Assistant and researcher in the Computer Science
Department for a period of ten years, since 2004 until 2014.
I am privileged to write in support of my colleague and student
Jorge Adolfo Rodriguez Guillen. I hereby confirm that Adolfo has
been student of Computer Science Engineering. I met Adolfo in my
classes of Computer Architecture and Distributed Systems (third
course) and later, as supervisor of his Master Thesis, where he got
specialized in embedded systems, specifically in Wireless Sensor
Networks. In particular, he completely developed a Wireless Sensor
Network application aimed at monitoring the ambient conditions in
public buildings, and complemented his work with a real
deployment of the network to conclude his work with very
interesting results. During this period of time (around 6 months)
we had frequent meetings, which allowed me exchange interesting
ideas with him and know better its approach to work and
research.
In my opinion, Adolfo is a highly-motivated student, able to
identify problems and solve them in a constructive and
autonomous way. He is also able to work within a team. The most
distinguished aspects of his approach are his ability for learning,
for presenting clearly his ideas and proposing effective solutions.
I am extremely satisfied with his work and wish him all the best in
his future endeavors. Therefore, I recommended Adolfo for
employment without reservation and I trust that he can become a
great asset to any research organization.
Sincerely,
