This document discusses transmission earthing devices and their use. It outlines the five golden rules for working with transmission lines which include switching off the circuit, locking out power sources, checking for nominal voltage, earthing the lines, and delimiting the work area. Earthing devices are used to securely connect conductors to earth to make the network safe for workers.
