10. from every possible place people wait for the sunrise

11. the boat passes the bathing ghats

12. some seek salvation in groups

13. some in solitary meditation

14. the palaces speak of a glorious past

15. alongside some even more timeless offerings

16. rafts for birds to drink and bath in peace away from the congested town and river banks

17. then comes the sunrise to the furious applause of cameras

18. back on the ghats life goes on as always
