factors associated to environmental conditions. It is observed that this disease occur more
frequently in low income countries because of their poor lifestyle as compared to healthy
lifestyle of developed countries. It is because of the socio-economic status of the country and
people which can cause nutritional deficiency more importantly cardiovascular disease. Many of
the risk factors of this disease are nutrition based or environmentally influenced.

2. Effect of mitral valve stenosis on tissue perfusion and reduced ability to exercise.
Main effects of mitral valve stenosis are on left atrial pressure, and pulmonary vasculature.
Therefore it presents the symptoms of fatigue, breathlessness, irregular pulse etc that ultimately
reduces the ability of exercise because of this problem. The walls of left atrium become
thickened and exert pressure. This condition ultimately causes pulmonary hypertension which is
the main reason of reduction in the exercise ability.
