1. 41509958161020Saola (中南大羚) is a rare mammal that is critically endangered. There are less than 11 in the world, and if those few die, it is going to be in the extinct category. They are known as Asian unicorns and are herbivores. They like eating the leaves of a fig tree.AppearanceThe Saolas are antelope-like, cousins of the cattle, bison and buffaloes. It has dark brown skin with white patches on the head. Its legs are dark brown with white patches. The horns on head are really strong and the Saola weighs approximately 80kg.The threats for the SaolaThe Saola has been captured and killed, mostly for their head and horns. It might be truly disgusting, but this issue has to e told. The heads are stuffed and put on display. My opinion is: Why don’t we make some man made head instead of using killed Saolas?Another threat for these antelopes is their habitat destruction. The food chain has been interrupted and the natural environment has been destroyed. If the food chain is broken down, the other animals, including us, will die out. Why be greedy? With all of these reasons for Saolas to become endangered, we need to take full responsibility for the Saola to become endangered, so STOP buying horn products from any animal and take action your own!43313352756535Endangered update-Your endangered animals weekly update2011 March By Yue Hang6€<br />
