This document provides guidance for an assignment to prepare a paper on moving a practice issue through the change process. It instructs the reader to review theories of change from the course text and conduct additional research. It asks the reader to consider their practicum setting and assess readiness for change by identifying barriers and facilitators. The reader is then instructed to propose strategies to address barriers and explain why the strategies might be effective based on change theory. The document provides required readings and specifies that the paper should be at least 550 words following APA format, addressing readiness for change, identifying a guiding theory, and discussing strategies based on that theory.
