Adding and subtracting positive and negative rational numbers

K.C.C stands for keep change change that
is where you leave first number the same
change negative to a positive and change
last number . For example say if I had 4/10
- 1 and 3/10 you would leave 4/10
the same change the negative to a positive
because you only want a positive after that
you change positive 1 and 3/10 to a
negative and that is keep change change

3. After you do keep change change you have to know if its ass or sos . SOS
means subtract opposite signs and ASS means add same sign for example
say if I had 4/10 + -1 and 3/10 that would be sos because one is positive
and one is negative that is sos

4. Now you have to show
your work and add
them together always
take sign of bigger
number it would be
negative because that is
bigger number
-1 3/10
4/10+
-9/10
