Background Part I
              
A while ago whites came to Cape town to use it as a
point to control trade. But when trains and other means
of transportation came along it was not as important.
But during that time that Cape Town was important the
whites managed to get control South Africa and since
they had powerful armies the blacks had no means of
getting the country back. The whites lived there to live
in luxury and did not move out because they knew that
they had the power to control the blacks so they stayed
and made them feel worthless by making them
servants.
Background Part II
             
 They later on the Boers travel north to escape from
the English and they settled there attempting to buy
land from the native tribes but they did not
understand about the way that the natives operate
by sharing the land but not selling. The Boers
thought they bought the land with mirrors and other
shiny things but all they did was get permission to
plant crops and raise livestock. But they put up
fences like they owned it so the blacks acted up and
got killed by the guns of the Boers.
Boers
                      
 Boers are Dutch or French Huguenot descents that
have inhabited 56% of the white population in South
Africa. They control the government and the
parliament and was basically the most powerful
people in South Africa. The Boers believe that they
are superior to the inferior blacks so they keep them
separate. The Boers have the power to create laws
and to uphold them with troops and guns. Many of
them hate blacks because of the way that they have
  been taught in the past.
The Natives
                   
 The natives are blacks South Africans whom and
ancestors that have lived there their whole life. Most of
them are submissive towards the white population in
South Africa… Most. But there is that population of
blacks that demand what is right, to not be controlled by
the whites. They know that the whites have simply come
in and have invaded the land that they have cultivated for
generations. The whites thought that they could buy the
land with mirrors and other shiny objects. But they were
wrong. The natives do not believe in the buying of land,
they only believe in giving permission to people to use it.
Pass Laws
                   
 The Boers created laws to make the blacks inferior to
the whites. One of many is the pass laws. The passes
forces blacks to only be in certain areas. If they are in a
area and they don’t have a pass granting them
permission to be in that area, they could be punished
and sent to jail. If a black looses a job, they loose
permission to go back to the job so that it is hard for
them to get a job if they loose permission to go to a
area. This also effects friendship because imagine you
had a friend in Pretoria and you visit him every day.
And one day you couldn’t because you live in
Alexandria and you don’t have a pass to go to
  Pretoria.
Laws
                      
 Apartheid literally means separateness from Dutch.
They use it to make the blacks feel more inferior to
the whites and make the whites more superior to the
blacks. It keeps the blacks in line but they try to
make it more equal with protests. And when the
Bantu education came along the whites were
attempting to make the blacks more separate by only
teaching them languages that they only use in South
Africa. So if they leave the country they cant
  communicate with everyone else.
Psychological effects
            
 When the Boers kill blacks, every time they kill
someone close to another black the blacks either
become more submissive or more violent to the
whites. The blacks are more submissive to the whites
because they know they are more powerful. But
when a servant shaves his master… Why does he not
just slit his throat and kill the master he hates? It is
because he is more submissive and obeys his master.
And is too afraid to kill his master.
Effects to Whites
                 
 The whites are more powerful than the blacks but the
blacks are stronger than the whites. So this causes white
individuals who can’t protect themselves to feel insecure
while living in a country with unrest. Also this makes the
whites more powerful than they really are and might
make the children feel as they could insult any random
black person without any consequences which may or
may not happen. Other then that if you are friends with a
black person people will not like you and when you are
engaging in a conversation with them they will
completely ignore the black person just because he is blac.
Effects to Colored
             people.
                 
 Colored people are a mix of black and white blood.
They are not considered as black nor are they
considered as a white. They are stuck in the middle
and they are not treated as well as whites are but are
not treated as badly as blacks are treated. But since
one of there parents are black and the other white
they never feel like they belong to either race and
they are treated differently if they are a Colored
person with white skin or a Colored person with
black skin but it is hard to interact with either race if
  you are colored.
ANC
                       
 The ANC were a hostile group fighting for South
Africa to be free and they were sometimes
considered as terrorists. But they were not always
hostile. They first tried to use non violent actions to
fight for freedom but later on they learned that it
would be impossible for them to take back there
native land without violent means causing them to
create bombs and they even sent children who joined
the ANC a better education by sending them over
seas so that they may serve a better purpose in the
  future.
Sanctions
                    
 The rest of the world later created sanctions limiting
trade to South Africa to cause them to go into a
economical crisis saying that they will not restore the
trade until South Africa becomes more free. This
made the country feel threatened so they spent
billions of dollars (USD) into developing the recently
discovered nuclear weapons to try to protect
themselves. But all this did was drain the already
depleting resources that South Africa had.
Solution
                     
To end it they had free elections so that South Africa
could elect a black person but this caused trouble
because everyone wanted to vote and many people
were in inaccessible locations which caused people to
line up for hours if not days to vote for the person they
wanted to vote for. Also there as a computer counting
bug that messed up the counting but luckily the manual
counting soon caught up to the computers and fixed the
numbers.
