Props List
By Will Smith
Fake/cheap ring – The ring will be the first prop that’s used in my film because Jordan has just
asked his girlfriend to marry him but he bought a cheap ring but didn’t understand what was
wrong with it. Also since the ring will be on the floor and it’s the only thing in focus and you
can hear arguing in the background you know something has happened to there relationship.

Tooth pick – I will need to use a tooth pick when it cuts to the gangsters in the van on the way
to get the protagonist. ‘Tony’ the antagonist will put it in his mouth just as I use the freeze
frame.

Spare clothes – I will need to use spare clothes when the antagonists girlfriend has just kicked
him out and she starts throwing his clothes out the window. This implies that she doesn’t want
him to come back and wants him to not contact her.

Gun – The gangster is the only character to be shown with a gun in the opening scene. By him
having the gun it shows that there will be a certain amount of violence in the film and it helps
the audience to indicate who is the protagonist and the antagonist.
Fake blood – The fake blood will be used when the protagonist is tied up in the
back of the van. It cuts straight from the van being closed to his face with blood
running out the side of his mouth.

Torch or small light – this will be used when he’s in the back of the van and I
will either use a light bulb hanging from the ceiling or one of the gangsters with
be holding a torch.

Chair – the chair will be used when the protagonist is in the van. He will be put
on a chair with rope around him.

Rope – the antagonist will use the rope and chair to tie the protagonist down.

Van – I need to use a white van which I have easy access to use when my
protagonist gets thrown into a van by the gangsters. Also once he is and the
door is shut it cuts to the last scene of him in the van on a chair tied up with
blood running out the side of his mouth.
