the administration of Japanese occupation.

3. Introduction
本研究將以日治時期台灣日式宿舍為例，分析建築空間、立面造型的形狀
文法構成，用以台灣日式宿舍空間再造的設計邏輯依據。
This research will analyze the architectural space and Facade style of Shape
grammar composition of during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan to the
Japanese housing case study. Use to Japanese-style Dormitories space for
Taiwan's re-design rationale.

不可否認的，這些日式平房建築曾在本市的都市成長中佔據了重要的一頁，也
深深影響到今日市民的居住文化，「歷史性建築能為一個地區的歷史文化扮演
著『目擊者』之角色，對歷史文化的詮釋力也具備良好的貢獻。歷史建築的定
義比一般所稱的古蹟更寬廣，所以它能包容各個不同時期與不同文化背景的建
築，透過各類型的歷史性建築，更能瞭解當地的文化。」（1989，李乾朗）

台灣日治時期的日式宿舍由於地方政府的政策以及欠缺有系統的維護，正
在不斷在消失當中。所以對於這些具有歷史價值的建築需要以具有邏輯的
分析與記錄其空間形式與建築造型。而形狀文法(由過渡型、表徵符號、
文法規則、起始型四部分所組構)便是以尋找隱藏的形狀(建築)組構規則。
這些規則將可以運用在建築的分類與產生更多同一類規則所組成的建築。
Period of Japanese occupation of Taiwan Japanese housing policy and local
government as a systematic lack of maintenance are constantly disappearing.
Therefore, a systematic analysis of needs and record their space in the form and
building style for these buildings of historical value. The shape grammar (From
the transitional type, characterized by symbols, grammar rules, at initial part of
the fabric of type four.) is to find the hidden shape (construction) fabric of rules.
These rules will be used in the construction of classification and rules to produce
more composition of the same type of building.

文法規則中可以分析出建築生成規則與歸納出建築之間異同性，藉由這方
法可以去分析建築在不同的環境與使用條件下，建築設計思維的變化。

10. Conclusion
以形狀文法分析日式宿舍的空間形構，可以清晰的以圖形來解讀日式宿舍
的演化過程、以及之後的增、改建手法。並且可運用此規則檢視當下台灣
的日式風格住宅所運用語彙的正確性。
Analysis of the shape grammar to Japanese housing Space-shaped structure can
clear the graphics to interpret the evolution of Japanese-style homes, and after
the growth alteration techniques.

11. 建築空間生成規則建立之必要性
 台灣部分早已消失的宿舍群，大多都缺乏考據資料。未來可以依靠現
存的宿舍群中部份相關的規則，進行有邏輯依據的重建。
