TEACHING

FAVORITE TEACHER

 My favorite teacher was my fourth grade teacher Ms. Harvey. She
had a way with helping kids understand the subjects she was teaching
as well as knowing what interested us the most. We would read
American Chiller books as a class together and we adopted an animal
from the zoo so we could each take home a stuffed animal of it for
the weekend and write about it. She made me want to become a
teacher.
WHY DO I WANT TO BE A
        TEACHER?

 I want to be a teacher because I want to be the reason children
love coming to school. I want to teach them the fundamentals of
learning and school that they will use for the rest of their lives.

 The most rewarding thing about being a teacher that I cannot wait
to experience is seeing the light bulbs go off in their heads and getting
that ah-ha moment.
WHAT KIND OF TEACHER
    DO I WANT TO BE?

 I want to be an early elementary teacher.

 My ideal classroom would be either 1st or 2nd graders.

 I would be fine with teaching anything from k-5 but I do not really
want to got up to 8th grade or any where in middle school unless I
have to.
