Having made reliable enough research I think Paper Bag Records
would be the most appropriate record label for our artist. This record
has no ties to large corporate recording label such as Universal
Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and
EMI Group. It has no relationship with any of the above major record
labels. The once I have motioned are one of the most power full
record labels in the world. To be signed by them would be the
beginning to a successful career.
I think this record label would be the most suitable one for us due to several reasons. First of all their
expenses are fairly cheap and they have the same equipment as the major ones. Secondly the
independent record labels are not afraid to take risk. This is because they don’t have any extreme
expenses such as the large corporations. Another advantage is that it has a smaller budget, which means
the artist in not stuck with huge studio bills and producers fees allowing the band to see a profit long
before a corporate produced record which is usually longer.
