2. Primary Heath care centers are the fundamental stone that
public healthcare lay on.
PHC centers should meet a certain standers for it to be
efficient.
We, 21 of the 4th year Medicine Students, had visited Al-
Eskan health center on the 13th of Nov 2011
and stated the following observations.

Health Center , He was a great help giving us the
following information about his center ..

6. Al-Eskan PHC center serves several
regions such as :
o Eskan Al Khubar
o Al-Azeziah
o Al-Gawariah
o AlShebaili

7. Distance ..
o The farthest distance between the center and a patient
house is half an hour driving.
o The central hospital that Al-Eskan PHC refers to is half an
hour away.

8. Population served ..
o Al-Eskan PHC serves around 25,000 person.
o The majority are Saudi Families.
o The only non-Saudi patients authorized to be served by the
PHC are privet drivers and housemaids.
