2. What is meant by
scientific attitude
Scientific attitude is the
desire to know and
understand, questioning to all
statements, search for data
and their meaning, search for
verification, and consideration
of consequences
Scientific attitude is a way of
thinking the can be obtained
through science education.
The acquisition of scientific
attitude is most important
outcomes if sicence

4. Objectives of science
• To provide knowledge of the facts,
• principles, concepts and laws of science.
• To develop skills in experimentation, observation, drawing, problem solving and manipulating apparatus.
• To develop ability to improvise apparatus, organize science exhibitions and fairs.
5. These kits are mainly designed to
impart knowledge because
they provide detailed and subtle facts
on various aspects of life and
physical sciences.
They are mainly popular among the
students who learn science and are
curious to experiment on various
scientific facts and data.
Science experiment kits help
students to learn the practical aspect
of science in everyday life.
Students generally enjoy doing
things practically because theoretical
learning sometimes becomes very
boring.
These kits help the students to feel
whatever they are performing and
help them to grasp the concerned
topic quickly.
6. Teaching aids
Any object used in the educational
environment to support learning
and to make life easier for the
teacher – they support the
professional practice of teaching.
Common examples include timers, flip
charts, world globes and flashcards
are called as teaching aids
7. Physical science
teacher
handbook
Teachers hadbook is an excellent reference
material for teacher effective science
teaching
It contains list of instructional and specific
objective, summarization of chapter and
explanation of significanct term and
condition, tools ,seminar, projects workshop
to be organised suggested reference
material etc.
It gives sufficient additional points that
teachers can use in classrooms, which are
ore socially relevant to immediated
surrounding surroundings of the students
and more acceptable to their cognitive sense
Teachers handbook serves as resource and
reference material that supplement
classroom teaching
8. Advantages
• It help teacher to organised lesson in
proper way, systematic way
• It help teacher to adopt proper stagies in
teaching and learning process
• Help teacher to evaluate the learning
using relevant and standard tool of
evaluation
• It minimize the efforts of teacheras it
serves as a excellent reference material
Disadvantages
• Teacher become lazy and does not try to
learn other than the topic
• Teachers always take help from this
material other than applying resasoning

The elements of Concept are
Name or

Attribute
values
Exemplars
Rules or
definition
16. Burners concept of attaintment include
three phases
• Phase 1:-
Presentation of data
and identification of
conept
2)Student compare
attributes in positive
and neagative
3)Student generate
and test hypothesis
4)Student state a
definition according
to essential attributes
1)Treachers present
labelled examples
17. Phase 2 testing attainment of concept
Student identify additional unlabelled examples as yes or no
Teacher confims hypothesis ,name concept and restate definitaton
Student generate example
18. Phase 3 Analysis of thinking strategies
Student
describe
toughts
Student
discuss

feelings,emotions, and attitudes.This
domain includes the manner in which we
deal with things emotionally, such as

physical movement and the use of motor skills.
This includes coordination and posture. The
psychomotor aspect of body movement
involves the occurrences in the mind before,
during, and after movement. Hand-eye
coordination is a part of the psychomotor
domain, as is reading music while playing the
trumpet.
