3. 6th Express Entry Draw launched
Early
The 6th Draw of Federal Express Entry System
launched even before two weeks (i.e. on 26th
March), which was a surprise for the applicants
coupled with reduction of 10 points in the qualifying
marks (i.e. CRS score requirement as 446 CRS
Points). Draw invited a total of 3,000 candidates 4th
time in a row, which was another record set by
IRCC.
4. OINP introduced a new ‘Completeness
Check’ for accepting applications
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has
introduced a new ‘Completeness Check’ for
accepting the provincial nomination applications
from the applicants. If the application is complete,
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) will
issue a letter acknowledging its completeness of
the same. The letter will also be sent in face of
incomplete application.
5. Manitoba PNP issued over 600
Invitations
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)
issued a total of 638 Invitations to applicants
inviting them to apply for Provincial Nomination
for Canadian permanent Residency through
MPNP. Out of the total invites 253 invitations
were under Express Entry stream, which were
sent to Express entry registered applicants.
6. 5th Express Entry Draw of the year
Launched
Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada
(IRCC) launched the long time awaited 5th draw of
Federal Express Entry system of the year on 14th
March, 2018. The EE draw issued a total of 3,000
candidates 3rd time in a row.
7. Newfoundland and Labrador announces
to double its immigration target
The Canadian province Newfoundland &
Labrador is expected to soon double its annual
immigration target from 1,700 to minimum 4,000
by the year 2022. The annual immigration target
of this province in fact will be more than double, if
implemented anytime soon.
