3. ABSTRACT
>In todays world , with developing science and
technology .There is a huge focus on reducing
man power and increase in automation &
autonomous systems ,so as to achieve higher
accuracy , fast rate , and reducing risk on
human life. Almost all the sectors are getting
automation now a days.

4. >Aerial vehicles such as aero plane ,
fighter planes , logistics planes are now a
days getting modernized by replacing
human with machine , so as to lower the
risk of losing human and moreover the
objective can be easily be accomplished
with use of UAV over a hostile region in
any case.

5. INTRODUCTION
UAV or Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is an aircraft without
an onboard pilot thus getting name ‘Un-man-ned’
aerial vehicle.
It’s flight is either pre-defined or controlled by a
computer or by a pilot from a remote base station.
What is a drone?
DRONE stands for Dynamic Remotely Operated
Navigation Equipment.

6. BRIEF HISTORY OF UAV
>Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have been
around for centuries and were solely used for
military purposes.
> In 1849 when the Austrians attacked the Italian
city of Venice using unmanned balloons that were
loaded with explosives. Although balloons would
not be considered a UAV today.

7. The United States began developing UAV technology
during the First World War in 1916 and created the
first pilotless aircraft. Shortly after, the U.S Army
built the Kettering Bug.

>COMMUNICATION:-
. Operates on ultra high frequency.
• Communicates with ku-band system.
• Operates with uplink frequencies from 15.15 to 15.35
GHz and downlink frequencies from 14.40 to 14.83 GHz.
>NAVIGATION:-
• It calculate position automatically.

. Includes GPS system.
. High resolution video camera.
. Super high resolution still camera.
>COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM

• For designing of a UAV many basic points
are considered before actual work to be
start.
• Basic properties which are taken into
account are thrust , drag , lift , weight.
. Software's such as ADS , Open VSP ,
CSAIL are specifically used to UAV
designing. These software's are used for
designing and analyzing them.

15. NECESSITY
In toady worlds , there is a huge race between nations to
achieve supremacy on one another. To maintain one’s
supremacy they are required to spend more on UAV type
projects , which will given them boost in almost all
sectors whether its agriculture, space, navigation,
weather forecasting , surveillance, defence ,any many
more. To attain supremacy in these fields for overall
betterment of their people .

16. • Governments across the global are spending
lakhs crore on such project. And the most
important thing it reduces human life loss and
accurate strike that are widely used also in
case of natural disaster where humans are
difficult to reach. It can be used as early stage
of help & as well as attack on human race.

17. DISADVANTAGES
• Currently , inefficient in recognizing targets.
• Prone to hacking .
• If contact to GCS(ground control station) , is lost , the vehicle
may never return.
• Currently ,Fuel refilling is not possible .
• If got exposed to wrong people it will be cause of human race
extinct.
