3. One of the greatest challenging facing
humanity is the fear of making certain
decisions. The dangers attached to certain
decisions when made have kept people on the
leave-it and loose-it zone for too long causing
them to let go important issues that shouldn’t
have been left unattended.
4. In the family, we can see that the issue of
proper organization is rapidly decreasing
which is a root cause of poor leadership in
the area of decision making. One of the vital
role of the family head is to be able to take
the bull by the horn notwithstanding the
inconveniences it might cause him in making
decisions that will initiate growth in the
family.
5. Certain decisions aren’t benefiting at the
moment when made, but will undergo certain
seasons of germination before the fruit
becomes evident. For this reason, the most
important aspect that each of us representing
a particular sector must make in order to
move each phase of life to glare of publicity
is based on the decisions we make on a daily
bases.
6. In individual decision making, when
appropriated rightly, can help in the
actualization of family set goals or targets. We
make decision each moments of our life
which can be calibrated in hours or minutes
but the impart they create in determining how
successful or unsuccessful we will become is
something we have to attend to with care and
caution.
7. Failure to make proper decisions has
impoverished and fractured certain families;
setting them on a level of family profligacy as
well as affecting vehemently the proper
growth and developmental stages of such a
home.
8. In homes today, decision making has always
been taught to be that of the role of the man
but in contrary has been marked as untrue.
Decision making is made by everyone
constituting the family bond. There are
decision made by the man, woman, children,
grand children and others and while these
decisions are been made by the members of
the family, it is essential that accuracy is
achieved or else decision wrongly made can
drive an entire family to the mud.
9. Therefore, it is imperative to know that
whether we make decisions in our home,
workplace, at school, individually, what makes
us have positive turn outs after certain
decisions have been made is the establishment
of how prolific such decisions are.
10. While we live in this earth, one factor that
stands to exist among every single six billion
humans existing in this planet is the aspect of
decision making. The same is true for every
individual that existed before and that are
existing and that will even exist in the near
future.
11. No matter how we try to escape from making
certain decisions, it will be impossible to be a
reality. We make decisions due to an existence
of alternative choices to be made. Decision
making is a judgment of choice between two
or more alternatives, and arises in an infinite
number of situations from the resolution of a
problem to the implementation of a course
of action.
12. When God created man, He gave him the
abilities to make certain decisions that will
enable him govern and exercise his authority
over his territory, Eden. He had alternative
choices to make so as to get Eden properly
running excellently.
13. One of the dominant situations attacking
families and the single-couple community is
the inability to identify problem causes. And
so in addition, I decided to include proper
decision making that will help resolve
problems. They are on the next slide:
14. Before any decision is been carried out in the
family probably by the head, Problem analysis
must be done first, so that the information
gathered in that process may be used towards
decision making. Let’s consider certain points
to be considered before problem analysis.
They are:
15. • Analyze performance, what should the
results be against what they actually are
• Problems are merely deviations from
performance standards
• Problem must be precisely identified and
described
• Problems are caused by some change from a
distinctive feature
16. • Something can always be used to distinguish
between what has and hasn't been effected by
a cause
• Causes to problems can be deducted from
relevant changes found in analyzing the
problem
• Most likely cause to a problem is the one
that exactly explains all the facts
17. To act most effectively, at the root of the
problem, you should analyze its causes and
prioritize the most important factors. Acting
on those critical causal factors will solve most
of the problem. After selecting and
describing a problem, you need to define the
causes and prioritize them.
18. Systematize or analyze causes, you have to
systematically analyze the causes of these
problems such as by redefining the problem:
you need a clear idea of the problem so that it
can be analyzed and revisiting the questions
of problem description to make sure you are
clear about. You may begin by relating to
these questions.
19. •What is the problem about?
•How frequently does it occur?
•When and where does it occur?
•Who is affected?
•Brainstorming the possible causes
•Grouping the causes together and along side
roots causes.
20. Once you have analyzed the causes of a
problem, select the most important factors
that cause the problem as a basis for
implementing the solutions.
21. Now you know the abilities that lie within you
for proper decisions making which I know
will enable you govern and exercise authority
over the affairs of your life and home.
May this piece of information enhance your
decisive abilities and bring satisfaction in your
family or in your single-couple relationship.
