Fate gets manifested in the form of Circumstances. But Destiny is created as a result of our response to the circumstances. Thus, we create our own Destiny.
6. • Let us understand what
is Fate ?
• To understand Fate, we
have to understand the
Law of Karma
7. • What is KARMA?
• When we do something
• Our acts or deeds
generate a reaction
• We can call them
rewards.
8. • What is KARMA?
• Every person has a
liberty to do or not to
do anything.
• This is called ‘Free-will’
9. • What is KARMA?
• The act or omission that
create reaction or
reward is called
KARMA
10. • What is KARMA?
• This reaction or rewards
can be
• Good for good deeds.
• And Bad for bad deeds.
11. • Good rewards create
favourable or comfortable
circumstances
• Bad rewards create
unfavourable or
uncomfortable
circumstances
12. • What is KARMA?
• The rewards can take
different time duration
to be effective
13. • What is KARMA?
• Some karma create
quick rewards while
• Some other karma
create rewards in a long
time
14. • There are many Karmas
where the rewards
would take very long
time to be effective.
• Some goes beyond the
span of one life time to
another.
15. • There remain
undelivered rewards at
the end of every life.
• Accumulation of such
rewards are termed as
'Sanchit Karma'
16. • 'Sanchit Karma‘ is made
up of rewards of past
Karma.
• Rewards are in the form
of comfortable or
uncomfortable
circumstances.
17. • Out of the 'Sanchit
Karma‘ the bunch of
rewards ready to be
effective during a
particular life is called
Prarabdh or Fate.
18. • Thus, Fate denotes
comfortable or
uncomfortable
circumstances.
19. • Fate is a result of past Karma
which cannot be undone now.
• This means; the
circumstances presented by
Fate cannot be changed.
• But it is Circumstances and
not the results.
Does Fate denotes unchangeable
results?
20. Does Fate denotes unchangeable
results?
• Fate denotes kind of
circumstances.
• It doesn’t denote the outcome.
• Then, what determines the
outcome?
21. Present karma out of Free-will
undertaken in the
circumstances presented by
fate, generates new rewards.
The result is called Destiny
22. Thus, we cannot change the
Fate; but we always create our
destiny the way we act in the
given circumstances.
