inaccurate financial reporting. Detailswithin the IRMS sub ledger must reconcile (tie) each month with
the corresponding summary accounts in the General Ledger for each Sector.
Currently IRMS is using tuxedo services (middleware) integrated with VB6 which are quite old
technologies. This new Tech upgrade project is to upgrade the front endand middleware technology to
improve the performance of the application.
So now UI is getting developed using VB.Net which is again getting integrated with WCF service which
communicate Oracle database.

paid appropriately, etc. For these purposes, the organization has an arrangement with the
providers/groupstosendthe providerdemographicsdatafromtime totime.The providerdataissentin
the form of rosterswhichthenneedsto be verifiedif itmatcheswiththe available providerdatainCPD.
Coventry Provider Database (CPD) is the central provider repository that houses all the provider data.
Basedon the verificationresultsupdatesneedtobe made in CPD.The ProviderOperationsDepartment
of Coventry handles the Roster Management process using a tool called GFAST (Group File Analysis
Support Tool). The project CVTY Enhanced Roster Management aims to enhance the existing systems
otherthanGFAST toaccommodate a configurable automatedprocessforimportingProviderInformation
(Roster) with rich data mapping, validation, cleansing & reporting features so that minimal / no user
intervention is required for provider information update. Moreover, this will reduce the current

to provider / practice group. Consequently, GFAST will be deprecated & retired from production.
